Thanksgiving '09

We had the best time at Grandaddy's for Thanksgiving! We ate so much food and it was so good! We really enjoyed spending time with everybody! We stayed outside most of the time and the kids had a blast! We also got to draw names out of a hat for the kids at Christmas! I can't believe it is going to be here in less than a month!! I am so excited! I am so grateful for all the Lord has given us! The most important thing to me is family & friends! I hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

We really enjoyed Thanksgiving yesterday with our family! I love getting together with the Scoggins family! They are so much fun and always have the best food! All the kids had fun playing together and I even managed to get a pic of most of them! It was such a great day! I am so thankful for my family & friends!

Last Sunday we got together with my family for Thanksgiving. We all went to Mike's like we always do and had a great time! The food was fantastic! We all ate and sat around and watched football! I am so thankful for my family, I love them so much!

These are some pics from a few days ago when we decided to put up our trees! Dylan is really into it this year and keeps saying he wants Santa Claus to come see him! He is even singing Santa Claus is coming to town! It is so cute! He had the best time decorating his tree! His favorite ornaments are the tractors! It is going to be so much fun on Christmas morning, I can't wait to see his face!

Family Christmas pics

I recently got together with my sister-in-law and we decided to enjoy the beautiful day and snap some family Christmas pics! All of us walked up the road from our house to some nearby land and had the best time! The kids loved it b/c they could play in the leaves and climb the rocks! I am excited about Christmas this year, it will be here before we know it!

Yesterday was my hubby's 30th birthday! We got him an ice cream cake from DQ, it was so good! Dylan made him a frame with camou and his handprints in bright orange! I thought it was perfect considering Jeremy is a really big hunter! Dylan was so proud and could not wait to show his Daddy! Of course, Jeremy loved it! Dylan sang Happy Birthday to him and helped him blow out his candles! It was the sweetest thing! He loves his Daddy so much! We invited Joey, Jodie & the kids over for cake! Savanna made her Uncle Momo a sign that said, "I LOVE YOU", it was so sweet! They are two of a kind! Today was Jodie's birthday and we went over to visit for a little while! I didn't get any pictures, but she has had a really good birthday too! Dylan wanted to sign his name in her card and she just loved that! Dylan loves his Aunt JoJo! Happy Birthday Daddy, we love you so much!!

Antiques

These are some pics I took a couple of weeks ago while I was doing a photo shoot! There are all these old buildings that have been there since the 1800's. The keeper of these houses stopped by while I was shooting and asked us if we wanted to go inside! It was such a treat for me! I loved going through the house and taking pictures of all the antiques! He told us all the stories and it was very interesting to learn about it all! My favorites were the old cradle, the blocks they used to play with and the upstairs with the rope bed and old clothes! It was so neat, that was probably one of my favorite shoots!

Christmas ornaments

My mother-in-law recently had a Celebrate Home party and they have so much cute stuff! I got the cutest snowman and I got these Christmas ornaments! I love them! They look even better than I thought they would and they were only $10! I am getting so excited about Christmas this year! Hopefully I will have all of my decorations up in the next couple of weeks!

Last night we had over some of Jeremy's friends for his b'day! He will be the big "30" tomorrow! We ate some great food and watched some football! My Mama cooked Jeremy's favorite meal just like she does every year! She also made another one of his favorites...homemade cheesecake with cherries...yummy! Jeremy's mother made his favorite cake too! Quinn made her famous spinach dip and I made some corn dip! It was fun getting everybody together! Dylan loved all the attention and Maddie was a little angel just like she always is! Everybody kept asking if she ever makes a sound...she is the best baby! Jeremy has some of the best friends...his friend Kevin stopped by on his way to the hunting club and stayed awhile! We all had a great time!
