Big boy bed!!

So, it is finally time to put Dylan in his toddler bed! I have put it off as long as I can! I said I would leave him in his crib until he starting trying to climb out of it and that time has come! He loves it, but considering he sleeps with us almost every night, I don't know how much he will actually sleep in it! Only time will tell:-)

These are some pics I took of Dylan this morning! I tried to fix his hair a little different and he loved it, it was so cute! He is getting so big! I love my baby's eyes, they look just like his Daddy's!

One tired little boy!

Dylan did not take a nap on Sunday and he always takes a nap! I knew he would eventually pass out, I just didn't know when! He finally fell asleep around 7:45 when we were watching monster trucks on the computer, he just leaned over and went to sleep! I just had to take a picture! Kids can fall asleep anywhere in any position. Bless is heart...this doesn't look comfortable at all! He was one tired little boy!

Today we went to MiMi's to eat some great food and play outside! Maddie got in the water but didn't like it (I think it was too cool) and she looked so cute in her camou bikini! Dylan had a blast as usual! He got on the swingset that MiMi's friend gave her and he loves sliding and swinging on it! Dylan always eats popcicles at MiMi's house, but he calls them "DDcicles", it is so funny! We had such a great time, I love Summertime!

Dylan loves Poppie's truck!

Who knew that Poppie's truck could be so much fun?! Poppie pulled up and Dylan couldn't wait to get in it! Poppie's truck is small and the doors are not real heavy, so Dylan can get in and out easily! He couldn't wait to drive it! He walked up to Poppie and said, "On Poppie", which means...Come on Poppie! Believe it or not, Poppie put Dylan in his lap and let him steer! It was hilarious! Dylan felt so big and talked Poppie into doing it again later! Dylan LOVES his Poppie so much!

Maddie is 5 months old!

These are some pics I took of Maddie today! I think they turned out so cute! I bought these bloomers a long time ago and I have been waiting to put them on her so I could get some pics! It just so happened that they were taken when she turned 5 months old! I think they are so cute! She now weighs 17 lbs! I can't believe how big she is getting! She can sit up for a short period of time and she has 2 teeth now! Time goes by so quickly once you have kids! I love watching her & Dylan grow and I can't wait to see what the future holds for our family!

Today my sister and Maddie came over and we had the best time! I cooked lunch for everybody and we just enjoyed being together! Quinn had Maddie in one of the outfits I bought when Quinn was pregnant and they had just found out it was a girl, I think it looked adorable! I love watching Dylan & Maddie together, it is so sweet! Although Dylan does get a little excited sometimes, he really loves his cousin Maddie! My favorite pic I took is of their feet! I was on the couch snapping pics and I saw Dylan put his foot up and touch Maddie's and I couldn't help but take a pic of it...PRECIOUS!! Things like that just melt my heart! I love my family so much!

These are some pics I took today of my baby boy! He was doing what he loves most...playing outside! Another one of his favorite things to do is watch tractors, trucks and power wheels on youtube on the computer! He even knows how to move the cursor with his fingers, it's amazing how quickly kids catch on! He amazes me everyday! I love him so much!

Sips 'n Strokes

We had a blast!

Last Wednesday a bunch of us got together for another Sips 'n Strokes night! This time we were celebrating my friend, LeAnn's birthday! She was the big "24"! First, we all went to Dale's to eat and it was so good! Then, we met everybody else at Sips 'n Strokes! We got our instructor to get LeAnn on stage and everybody sang to her, it was great! I hope LeAnn had the best birthday ever, I love her like a sister! We had so much fun, I always have the best time when I get together with the credit union girls!

Other than going outside, these are 2 of Dylan's favorite things to do...paint & eat yogurt! He really enjoyed painting and showing me what he made when he got finished! It is very entertaining watching him eat yogurt! He starts with a spoon and does very well, then he decides to use his fingers to finish it! He gets so tickled at himself and I just had to capture it on camera! We have had such a great day!

Having fun at McWane!

Since the weather was bad today, I decided to take Dylan to the McWane Center! We have passes that we got for Christmas from my half sister, but haven't used them! It is so worth it b/c Dylan loves it and everything is free including parking if you are a member! We have been once before with Dylan and he loved it! We had a blast! Dylan loved being able to play with everything and he felt like such a big boy! After we got finished, we went to see my hubby at work! Dylan loved all the "tractos"! Of course, Daddy liked showing off his pride and joy!! I am so glad I got to spend the day with my little man! I love him so much!

Today we celebrated the 4th with my family! We ate some great food and really enjoyed eachother's company! Brad rode his motorcycle to the house and Dylan LOVES motorcycles! So, of course he had to sit on it! It was little Miss Maddie's 1st 4th of July and she looked so cute! She loved all the attention, we just ate her up! It was really hot, so we made sure to get plenty of popsicles! It has been such a great day! I love my family so much! Happy 4th of July everybody!

Tonight we went to Aunt Brenda's to celebrate the 4th! We had so much fun sitting on the deck eating and talking! The food was great! The kids got to run around and have fun! It was so much fun seeing everybody! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!

Dylan's bite mark

These are some pics I took Tuesday of Dylan's bite mark he got at daycare. Considering my son is a shark it's kinda hard to feel sorry for him! Dylan bit a kid next to him and the kid on the other side of Dylan bit him on the face. The kid that bit Dylan on the cheek was actually taking up for the kid Dylan bit. If a child aggravates Dylan he will bite them. I know that he is taking up for himself, but there are lots of other kids that get aggravated and they don't bite. Sometimes he will go 2 or 3 weeks without biting, but then there are those times where he will bite 2 times a day every other day for a week. I have tried everything to keep him from biting and nothing is working. And yes, I have bit him back...hard...that doesn't work! Vinegar, mustard, cocoa & soap doesn't work either. He actually hated vinegar at first but I used it on him so much that he likes it now! The same goes for mustard! One time I even had to leave work and go up there while it was still fresh on his mind to get onto him and that didn't work! I have even tried keeping him inside at night b/c playing outside is his favorite thing to do! Everybody tells me it's a "phase", but this "phase" has lasted a lot longer than I thought it would! Please pray that my son doesn't get kicked out of daycare b/c he is on the verge!! Any other advice would be very much appreciated!
